Welcome to your 2026 benefits
Enroll for your 2026 benefits Nov. 17 – 28, 2025
At Motorola Solutions, we're committed to supporting your total well-being while also delivering value for you, your family, and the company.
From your family to your budget, your doctors to your health goals — everything about you is unique. That's why we partner with Aptia365 — an online benefits platform that offers a choice of benefits, plus tools and information to put you in charge of your health and your benefits.
Action required! You must enroll for 2026 benefits
You must take action during Open Enrollment Nov. 17 – 28, 2025 if you want to choose your medical carrier for 2026. If you do not take action and are currently enrolled in a medical plan, you will be automatically enrolled in that same plan (with an increased deductible) but with the optimal carrier for your state of residence—either Aetna or Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois (BCBSIL). Please note that this may be a different medical carrier from the one in which you are currently enrolled.
Your state's optimal medical carrier is the one that offers the best network coverage and discounts, resulting in lower costs for both you and Motorola. Aetna is the optimal carrier for Alaska, California, Delaware, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Nebraska, New Jersey, Utah and Vermont. BCBSIL is the optimal carrier for all other states. Be sure to compare the plans and carriers available to you in 2026 and select the one that's best for your and your family's needs.
You must also take action during Open Enrollment if you want to:
Note: If you currently have coverage through Kaiser Permanente, Cigna Global (expat/inpat plans) or Hawaii Medical Service Association, you will keep your current carrier as long as you still live in a location where that carrier is available.

What's changing for 2026
Medical carrier changes
Effective January 1, 2026, we will no longer offer Cigna as a medical carrier and will introduce Aetna as a new medical carrier. Our recent evaluation of medical carriers showed that Aetna offers more innovative care options and will help lower costs for you and your dependents.
If you are currently enrolled in a Cigna plan, you can choose to enroll in either Aetna or Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois (BCBSIL) for 2026. To check if your current providers are in-network under either carrier, use the instructions below:
- Aetna: Click here for instructions.
- BCBSIL: Click here for instructions.
Transition of care
If you are moving to a new medical carrier for 2026, use the instructions above to check to see if your current provider will still be in-network. If your provider will no longer be in-network and you have questions about ongoing care, you can contact your new carrier for additional assistance (see phone numbers below).
You may be eligible for continued coverage at the current benefit level for a period of time if you are in an active course of treatment and your provider will be out of network starting January 1, 2026. An active course of treatment means you have begun a program of planned services with your doctor to correct or treat a diagnosed condition. An active course of treatment covers a certain number of services or period of treatment for special situations. For more information, contact Aetna at (833) 896-1987 or BCBSIL at (855) 804-3639.
